It’s been two weeks since I crossed the Charlotte Half-Marathon finish line, and I’m still in disbelief that my grandma knees didn’t fail me for those grueling 13.1 miles. But truth be told, I gotta attribute my success to the three game-changers who got me through my 12 weeks of training: 1) my tried-and-true cotton candy blue Asics, 2) my personal cheerleader boyfriend, 3) Honey Stingers energy chews.
